Last updated: March 2026

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of the Tawana platform, website, mobile experiences, and related services available at https://tawana.shop.

By using Tawana, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, you should not use the platform.

1. About Tawana

Tawana Commerce Ltd provides tools that help merchants create and operate online shops and allows customers to browse products and place orders with those merchants.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating or using an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity that takes place under your account.

3. Merchant Responsibilities

Merchants are responsible for their stores, listings, pricing, fulfilment, customer communications, taxes, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

4. Customer Orders

When a customer places an order through a Tawana-powered shop, the order is submitted to the relevant merchant. Product availability, fulfilment, cancellations, refunds, and service quality are primarily the merchant’s responsibility unless otherwise stated.

5. Acceptable Use

You may not use Tawana to engage in unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, harmful, or misleading activity. We may suspend or terminate access where we reasonably believe the platform is being misused or where this is necessary to protect users, merchants, customers, or the service.

6. Payments and Third Parties

Some services may involve third-party payment providers, messaging providers, hosting providers, or integrations. Tawana is not responsible for the separate terms, privacy practices, or service interruptions of third-party providers.

7. Intellectual Property

Tawana and its related branding, software, interface elements, and platform materials are owned by Tawana or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or misuse the platform except as permitted by law or with written permission.

8. Service Availability

We aim to keep the platform available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. Features may change, be improved, or be removed from time to time.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Tawana is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the platform. Tawana’s total liability for any claim relating to the service will be limited to the amount paid to Tawana for the relevant service, if any, in the period directly preceding the claim.
